EuRegMe
EuRegMe gathers 300-500 European medical students for sessions, decision-making, and social events.
About
The IFMSA European Regional Meeting (EuRegMe) brings together between 300 and 500 medical students from the European Region. The event is held once a year, lasts for five days (including arrival and departure day) and traditionally takes place in April. While the event itself is much more laid back in comparison to IFMSA General Assemblies, the structure is essentially the same.
During the mornings, delegates take part in Standing Committee sessions of a specific field with opportunities for self-skills development, sessions on specific subtopics of the field and inspiring presentations of activities and projects. The important decision making process takes place during the plenary sessions in the afternoon. These decisions mainly include voting on Regulation Change Proposals (RCPs) of the IFMSA European Regulations, on regional priority proposals as well as on EuRegMe host applications. After all the work is done, delegates get to enjoy a social program at night, including but not limited to the traditional opening and closing party and the national food and drinks party (NFDP).
